Question Your Purpose , Do Not Live Like Those Sheep !
An occurrence that broke many people’s hearts took place in a rural part of Turkey, and it has caused people all over the world to contemplate their own acts as well as the repercussions of blindly following others’ lead as a result.
The following is the sad tale of 1,500 sheep that, due to a tragic accident, found themselves standing on the edge of a cliff.
The first few sheep to lose their balance fell to their untimely deaths at the bottom of the cliff.
The incident took place in a little village in Turkey that was tucked away in the rough topography of the country. There, a big herd of 1,500 sheep were contentedly grazing on the beautiful hillside. An extraordinary chain of occurrences came out of nowhere and abruptly shattered the peace of the countryside.
One sheep, for reasons that were only known to itself, got perilously close to the brink of a precipitous cliff that looked out over a spectacular chasm. This poor sheep managed to lose its footing and tumble off the edge of the cliff as a result of a cruel twist of fate.
What transpired after that was a heartbreaking series of occurrences that in no way resembled a premeditated act of suicide.
When the first sheep went over the edge, the others, who were alarmed and terrified by the unexpected disturbance, were unwittingly pushed closer to the edge of the cliff. Their natural reaction to the mayhem set off a chain of catastrophic events that snowballed from there. They were unable to break free from the momentum of the flock and plummeted off the cliff one by one as they began to lose their footing one by one.
Villagers and shepherds did their best to prevent the catastrophe by intervening, but due to the magnitude of the event, it was practically impossible to save all of the sheep.
In the end, somewhere around 450 sheep met a horrible end when they fell onto the rough terrain below. The following lot fell on top of the others and were lucky to survive
