Wealth Is Of The Mind, Not The Pocket
Compliment post from Medium /Socialvibes
When you hear the word “wealth,” what is the first thing that pops into your head?
A person who has a beach house, a boat, and a wardrobe full of expensive clothing?
As a general rule, the term “wealth” refers to money and its associated benefits. To learn the genuine meaning of wealth, however, we must go deeper and look beyond the surface.
Some of the meanings of “Wealth” include:
“A large number of valuable assets or money,”
“The state or situation of being affluent; Material prosperity,”
“A large number of a certain resource or sought commodity,” and
“Well-being ; Prosperity.”
There are many things that people seek that have nothing to do with money, and some of these descriptions clearly connect to monetary issues and sources of cash.
If one obtains these desired items, it seems that one is affluent according to certain definitions of the word.

If this is the case, what kinds of possessions may someone have that make them desirable to others and, as a result, make him or her wealthy?
This is something that is unique to each person. Money is just one kind of wealth; one’s health, experiences, contacts, and memories may all be considered important assets that accumulate over the course of a person’s lifetime.
Due to the fact that a person’s perspective of what they want is also a component in their wealth, something that one person may not find attractive but that another person may feel is their most precious possession may both be regarded sources of wealth. Having a lot of money in your life is not enough to make you happy; you must first figure out what you define as riches, and then work hard to get it.
Having a large family, traveling lavishly once a year to your favorite places, or even simply making sure you have enough time to unwind in a hot bath at the end of each workday may all be regarded sources of wealth in their own right..
What are some of the items you aspire to own?
What in your life brings you the greatest happiness and fulfillment?
What are some of your favorite things?
Then rank them from most enjoyable to least enjoyable in terms of how much pleasure they provide you.
They will take care of your emotional well-being and leave a lingering sense of contentment in your heart after they are gone. When you think about all of the amazing things you do for yourself, you may be able to gauge your degree of prosperity.

Keep the larger picture in mind at all times
Take some time to contemplate the thoughts that will occupy your mind as you near the conclusion of your life. Will you wish you had finer clothing or a more costly vehicle?
And, on the other hand, would it have been better for your health if you had spent more time in the company of your loved ones or relaxing in the natural world?
The things you should invest money into today are the ones that will matter in the future. Give your loved ones the complete attention they deserve by putting down your phone and listening intently to what they have to say.
Those are the types of words that you will remember for a long time.
Allow yourself to be fully immersed in the sights and sounds of your surroundings by keeping your attention on the here and now.
Take a moment to savor the earth’s beauty and all that it has to give you. Do not waste energy attempting to please your boss or putting in additional time to afford a more luxurious house or car.

Talk about it openly.
If you think about it, your actions speak louder than your words. Do something worthwhile instead than merely putting money in your bank account.

Prioritizing and Delegating Your Work Efforts
Establishing your priorities and knowing what matters most in life will help you have a better idea of what constitutes “wealth” in your life. This may be done by finding a time and place where you can decompress and concentrate on the task at hand.
Make a list of the things in your life that are absolutely essential to your well-being before you begin. Spend some time pondering the blessings you have received in your life thus far. You should also think about the things you do not already possess but would want to.
A list of the things that bring a grin to your face and make your life more joyful should be drawn out.
Those people and things that keep showing up in your mind are good candidates for inclusion on your list of riches.

Procrastination is a choice you must make for yourself. Even though wealth is more than simply money, there are times when it may help us achieve goals that are not directly linked to financial gain.
Start saving now if you want to accomplish your goals and acquire the things that are most essential to you. Set aside a specific amount of money and reward yourself everytime you achieve a little goal.
